ECS - Environmental, Carbon, Sustainability Management Course

An ECS (Environmental, Carbon, Sustainability) course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the pressing environmental challenges of our time. This course covers a wide range of topics, including: Module 1 – Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Exploring the role of businesses in environmental sustainability and social responsibility; Module 2 – Carbon Management: Learning about carbon emissions, carbon footprints, and strategies for carbon reduction; Module 3 – Labour and Human Rights; Module 4 – Ethics; Module 5 – Environmental Management; Module 6 – Sustainable Procurement; Module 7 – ESG Implementation and Reporting. This course can be taken as a module on its own, in combination for two or more modules, or all modules to equip you fully competent for Sustainability leadership. This module is encouraged to take with an organisation as an implementation partner to practical implement your learning in organisational context.

Format and Delivery Methods: Once the above modules are reviewed and meets the learners’ needs, the learning will be delivered to the learners in total of 5 days. On completion of the bespoke learning, learners will upskill their understanding and competencies that they require within the organisation to deliver their business. Learning will be delivered at a pace preferred by the learners. Accelerating learning approach will be adopted. Each module will have at least 2 assessments (multiple quiz, discussion, fill in the gaps, etc.) The module will have only 1 workshop. The course will have at least 2 workshops to facilitate learning sessions. Fact sheets will be provided for the topics covered in the learning resources. Participants can ask questions for the 21 days.
